I made this poetry and art video for the virtual Art Bar Poetry Series. The poems are accompanied by paintings and drawings that speak to their message. Hope you enjoy the video!
Thanks to my publisher, Guernica Editions, for pairing me with poet Tyler Pennock for this interview series. Plus I got to make a new friend and read Tyler’s brilliant book, Bones, published by Brick Books in 2020.
Leap Day – a video poem
I wanted to post this video poem on March 1st as we didn’t have a Leap Day this year, but alas, I didn’t finish it in time. But here it is now. Some of the artwork is old and the ink paintings are more recent.
I am beyond excited to have six of my poems included alongside these illustrious Canadian poets in the anthology, Crystal Garden – Kristalykert, edited by Tarnoc Janos and Thury Katalin for the Hungarian-Canadian Friendship Society.
